TYPOGRAFISCHE MONATSBLÄTTER (TM RSI STM)

Typografische Monatsblätter was a pivotal magazine in showcasing Swiss typography and the New Wave style internationally. It documented key developments in typography and design before concluding in 2014. This special edition, created for a university exam, reflects the influence of Wolfgang Weingart and Felix Hum. It features a selection from Luigi Zoja's Justice and beauty, focusing on "The crisis of modernity" and exploring deeper aspects of beauty and aesthetics and ethics.

The Typografische Monatsblätter was one of the most important magazine to successfully disseminate the phenomenon of Swiss typography to an international audience, as well as spread the burgeoning ideas of the New Wave style.
Throughout these years, the Swiss typographic magazine witnessed significant moments in the history of typography and graphic design.
In 2014, was taken the decision to stop the publishing.

This is a special issue designed by me for an university project.
